A continuous 12-gauge stainless steel bent plate connects to the top flange of a wide flange steel beam to support a solar rail system. The assembly utilizes 1/4-inch diameter A307 welded studs spaced at 24 inches on center. A 3/8-inch thick full depth stiffener plate is welded to the beam web with typical 3/16-inch fillet welds on three sides.
