A pipe or conduit routes vertically through the adjacent slab and transitions via an elbow through the concrete grade beam or footing. A one-inch thick double layer of foam pipe wrap isolates the elbow within the concrete mass. Reinforcing bars in the footing are adjusted to pass the pipe without breaching minimum clearances. No penetrations are permitted within thirty-six inches of a panel joint or wall holdown.
