A concrete slab on grade thickens by two inches at the tilt-up wall panel, increasing to four inches at overhead door openings, and rests on a concrete footing with a 1 1/2-inch non-shrink grout bed, foundation insulation, and an L8x8x1/2 steel angle anchored by 3/4-inch diameter by 5-inch heavy-duty sleeve anchors at 18 inches on center. Additional connection is provided by number 4 dowels at 18 inches on center, which may be drilled and epoxied at the contractor's option, along with a number 4 horizontal bar spanning the opening width and an L-shaped steel angle at non-ramp locations.
