An L6x6x1/2 angle serves as a slotted ledger connected to an embed plate via a 1/2-inch by 8-inch by 8-inch end plate, secured with quarter-inch fillet welds on three sides. The ledger is anchored with a half-inch epoxy anchor spaced at two feet on center, installed finger-tight with distressed threads to allow movement at the seismic gap. A one-and-a-half-inch seismic gap is maintained, and panels are left unattached at the building corner.
