Steel floor beams frame into the flange of a structural steel column using a single plate shear tab welded to the column and bolted to the beam web. The connection includes an added web plate sized per plan view. Bolts are arranged in multiple rows with quantities sized per plan and note specifications. A scheduled weld plus one-sixteenth inch connects the shear tab to the column flange.
