A roof deck assembly features a lightweight concrete slab cast over geofoam and a roof deck with all flutes filled with expanded polystyrene at the penthouse. A supporting steel beam carries the deck, with a number four A706 reinforcing bar at twelve inches on center welded to the top of the beam. A pour stop is provided alongside a cold-formed steel box header by the manufacturer. The exterior wall consists of six-inch cold-formed steel studs at sixteen inches on center supporting sheathing and metal panels per architectural drawings, adjacent to a six-inch lightweight concrete wall reinforced with number four bars at twelve inches on center horizontally.
