A one-and-one-half-inch-wide by twenty-two-gauge minimum metal duct hanger strap suspends mechanical loads from a metal deck sized per plan. Two number ten sheet metal screws fasten the strap to the metal deck. The assembly supports a maximum tension load of fifty pounds.
