A structural steel beam per plan connects to a gusset plate provided by others, which in turn supports buckling-restrained braces also provided by others. Three-quarter inch stiffener plates are installed on both the near side and far side aligned with the work point. Five-sixteenths inch typical fillet welds secure the connection elements.
