A typical saw cut control joint in a concrete slab on grade over a prepared subbase features a one-eighth inch wide sawcut filled with gray flexible polyurethane joint sealant unless noted otherwise. Reinforcing bars are extended continuously across the joint location with slab thickness determined per plan.
