A precast or cast-in-place concrete wall panel bears onto a concrete footing utilizing embedded WT structural shapes for transfer. A WT6x13 section measuring one foot in length is embedded in the base of the wall panel, reinforced with two flared number 7 bars measuring three feet long and staggered as required per plan on both sides. A WT8x13 section measuring one foot in length is embedded in the concrete footing below, reinforced with two flared number 7 bars measuring four feet long. A quarter-inch fillet weld secures the embedded steel assembly with a minimum of three inches of concrete cover.
