Devices weighing zero to twenty pounds require a minimum of four number fourteen screws, while units weighing twenty-one to fifty pounds require a minimum of eight number fourteen screws restricted to corners only. Spacing is governed by maximum twelve inch horizontal and twenty-four inch vertical dimensions with four inch minimum fastener spacing and two inch maximum edge clearances. Framing requires referencing structural sheets for stud and backing specifications.
