A 1.5-inch nominal pipe size ASTM A53 Grade B Schedule 40 steel lighting pipe of variable length is supported by a pipe hanger and bolt assembly with a two-thousand-pound working load limit. The hanger connects to a black one-half-inch by six-inch jaw and eye turnbuckle with a working load limit of twenty-two hundred pounds. A black one-half-inch ASTM A36 threaded rod extends upward to anchor into the concrete deck. Anchorage is achieved using a one-half-inch Hilsi KB-TZ2 expansion anchor with a threaded rod coupler, installed with a two-inch embedment depth in either the upper or lower flute of the metal deck according to ICC ESR-4266. The assembly is coordinated with structural fireproofing.
