A vertical inline pump connects into domestic hot water return piping equipped with isolation valves and strainers on the suction side, followed by a concentric reducer at the flanged inlet. The discharge side features an eccentric reducer and a check valve before returning to the DHWR line. A temperature indicator is tied into the piping assembly near the suction connection.
