Suspended piping is supported from an overhead steel joist using a hanger rod secured with a one-half-inch bolt and double nut assembly. A three-by-three-by-one-quarter-inch angle iron support is welded to the joists to anchor the diagonal cable bracing at a nominal forty-five-degree angle. The cable bracing features factory-swaged ends and field-assembled connections using U-bolt cable clips. Piping is held by piping clamps attached to a Unistrut trapeze member, which is stabilized vertically by a seismic rod clamp and rod stiffener angle.
