Water heaters WH-1 and WH-2 connect to three-inch domestic cold water and domestic hot water piping equipped with line-size ball valves and balance valves. A three-quarter-inch ASME temperature and pressure relief valve discharges to a floor sink without trapping the piping. A vacuum breaker is provided at the water heater hose bibb drain, and units are set at a maximum temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
