Suspended pipes are supported by a trapeze hanger consisting of a Superstrut welded double channel 1202 series or equal, secured with hanger rods, nuts, jam nuts, washer clamps, and pipe clamps sized as required. Transverse seismic bracing is provided per SMACNA guidelines using pre-punched structural support adjustable angle fittings. The entire trapeze and sway brace assembly anchors back to the structural concrete slab using concrete inserts or expansion anchors. Longitudinal bracing and seismic restraint spacing comply with the latest SMACNA mechanical and plumbing piping systems guidelines.
