This schematic details the piping configuration for two electric water heaters mounted on a four-inch high housekeeping pad. The system includes a six-inch cold water supply line passing through a Zurn 375 reduced pressure zone backflow preventer with an outside screw and yoke shut-off valve and strainer, followed by a pressure reducing valve station. The cold water distribution branches to the heaters and a thermal expansion tank, while the hot water return loop incorporates a pump, pressure gauge, thermometer, Pete's plug, and shut-off valve. Each heater is equipped with a temperature and pressure relief valve piped to a floor drain, a tank cleanout port, and a tank drain valve. The system also features a hose bibb on the cold water line and a utility domestic water meter with a full flow bypass.
