Waste and vent piping is routed through floors and walls with cleanouts installed per UPC 707.0 and 719.0. A sidewalk cleanout-to-grade features a cover plate and waste pipe secured with typical pipe clamps, maintaining a 1% slope on larger horizontal piping. A wall-mounted cleanout with a cover plate connects to the waste and vent stack at the finish floor level, utilizing a 2% slope for 2-inch horizontal piping.
