A recessed hose bibb cabinet mounts within a wood-framed wall backed by double blocking for rigidity. A cold water supply pipe feeds the hose bibb through a three-quarter-inch stop valve. A non-removable vacuum breaker connects to the hose bibb inside the enclosure. A watertight seal is required between the bibb, box, stop, and box assembly. The cabinet box secures to the finished wall using quarter-inch screws spaced at three inches on center along all four sides.
