Vent pipes are located below the slab to enable tahu movement, requiring downstream tahus to be set in place before chipping out the slab and connecting to the vent above. A cleanout test tee is provided on the six-inch vent pipe riser and installed at twenty-four inches above the finished floor. The vent through roof is installed after tahu placement, complete with a vent through roof cap terminating above the roof line.
LOCATE VENT PIPES BELOW SLAB TO ENABLE TAHU MOVEMENT. AFTER DOWNSTREAM TAHUS HAVE BEEN SET IN PLACE, CHIP OUT SLAB AND CONNECT TO VENT ABOVE. FINISH FLOOR FUTURE TAHU FUTURE VENT THROUGH ROOF. TO BE INSTALLED AFTER TAHU PLACEMENT. PROVIDE CLEANOUT (TEST TEE) ON 6" VENT PIPE RISER. INSTALL AT 24" ABOVE FINISHED FLOOR INSTALL VTR AND CAP TOP OF PIPE TERMINATION ABOVE ROOF ROOF
