AC power conduits are supported against existing metal studs with plaster finish using a Unistrut P1000 channel or approved equivalent. A pipe strap such as B2400 or approved equivalent clamps the conduit against the channel with round washers placed under the fasteners. One 1/4-inch self-taping screw is embedded into the metal studs at each end of the bracket.
