A vertical lap joint connection between tilt-up concrete walls utilizes a continuous steel angle sized per plan. A one-half-inch by twelve-inch by twenty-four-inch steel plate is positioned directly beneath the angles to distribute loads across the wall panels. A vertical lap dimension of two feet three inches accommodates the offset between the overlapping concrete panels.
