The domestic cold water line incorporates a ball valve for isolation, followed by a pipe union or flanged connection and a pressure reducing valve marked PRV 2-1. A secondary pressure reducing valve assembly is installed downstream in series with additional isolation ball valves and unions. Pete's plugs are positioned along the piping run to allow pressure and temperature testing.
