This connection mounts a strut channel to a structural steel beam using a beam clamp assembly on one side and a threaded rod with a nut and square washer typical on the other. The 1-5/8 inch or 3-1/4 inch strut spans horizontally beneath the flange. A threaded rod drops vertically through the strut, secured by nuts and square washers above and below the channel.
