A plumbing vent pipe penetrates a membrane roof assembly with a required roof sleeve and a single-ply roof jack furnished and installed by the roofing contractor. The roof jack seals watertight to the vent stack, maintaining a twelve-inch minimum clearance. A no-hub band secures the pipe connection below the roof deck.
