A condensate line discharges into a funnel drain with a thermoplastic 2" by 4" diameter adaptor while maintaining a 2" air gap. The drain assembly includes a trap guard, a 2" x 1-1/2" bushing, a 1-1/2" nipple, and a 1-1/2" P-trap with tailpiece constructed of thermoplastic pipe. Waste connects through a sanitary "Y" fitting to a 2" waste pipe running down in the wall, while a 2" vent extends up through the roof.
