An emergency combination shower and eyewash unit is supplied by a 1-1/4 inch tepid water line. The overhead drench shower features a 1-inch stay-open ball valve operated by a pull rod with a triangle handle, positioned at 7 feet above the finished floor. The twin eyewash heads and face wash ring are controlled by a 1/2-inch stay-open ball valve with a push flag handle and a foot control pedal. A 1-1/4 inch plugged nipple and drain handle wastewater at the base of the upright standpipe.
