A water hammer arrestor is connected to a branch pipe within a wall chase, maintaining a minimum clearance of 1-1/2 inches. A ball valve matches the nominal size of the pipe branch, featuring an internal opening that matches the pipe inside diameter. The connecting pipe matches the size of the branch in the chase, and a reducer is provided between the valve and the water hammer arrestor as required.
