A twelve-inch concrete retaining wall accommodates a typical underground utility plumbing line running horizontally through its core. A Century-Line model CS non-conductive, high-impact-resistant high-density polyethylene pipe sleeve with an integral water stop collar and nailer end caps is cast directly into the concrete. The annular space between the utility line and the pipe sleeve is sealed using a Link-Seal model "LS" modular seal featuring EPDM seal elements, reinforced nylon polymer pressure plates, and three-hundred-sixteen stainless steel bolts and nuts. The sleeve is sized and installed strictly per the manufacturer instructions.
