This plumbing detail shows a single reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly connected in-line with ball valves on the supply and discharge sides. A strainer precedes the main reduced pressure zone assembly, which includes integrated test ports and a pressure reducing valve set at fifty psi. The entire assembly is mounted using a Unistrut wall support system. A vertical drain line features an air gap fitting positioned between one foot six inches and four feet six inches above the finished floor or drainage point.
