An inline recirculation pump connects into the domestic hot water service piping using unions on lines two inches and under. The assembly incorporates isolation valves for servicing, a check valve to prevent backflow, and a manual balancing valve suitable for low lead domestic water service. A thermometer with an isolation valve monitors the water temperature, positioned so the indicated value falls at the mid-range of the gauge. A blow down valve equipped with a hose drain and cap is provided for maintenance.
