An eighteen-inch wide by six-inch deep concrete swale cast with PCC 3500 concrete in conformance with the SPPWC Green Book latest adopted edition. The swale features a V-shaped cross section with a six-inch depth, six-inch side walls, and a one-quarter-inch lip at the top edge meeting adjacent pavement and base specified per plan. Three number four reinforcing bars run longitudinally through the concrete section, providing structural support with a two-inch clear cover on the sides and a four-inch minimum clearance below. The subgrade is excavated to a five-to-one slope beneath the aggregate base.
