An ASME rated temperature and pressure relief valve connects via a one-inch drain valve to a floor sink. The unit is secured with a McMaster-Carr high carbon strap measuring 1-1/4 inches by 0.031 inches with a 5500-pound breaking strength or equal, fastened to the backing plate or track using two 1/4-inch self-tapping metal screws. The assembly rests on a concrete pad with skid channels integral to the unit, anchored by four 1/2-inch diameter Hilti KB-TZ expansion anchors with a two-inch minimum embedment and six-inch minimum edge distance.
