Plumbing risers are integrated within a six-inch dual metal stud wall assembly. The wall utilizes typical 1-5/8 inch metal studs with a 2-3/4 inch dimension between framing elements. The assembly accommodates a maximum 4-inch waste and vent riser, a maximum 3/4-inch domestic cold water riser, and a 1/2-inch domestic hot water riser. A maximum horizontal spacing of 2 inches is maintained between studs for the waste and vent piping. This wall type allows for plumbing to be roughed in and tested prior to wall construction.
