Natural gas supply piping transitions to equipment through three distinct connection configurations utilizing threaded caps, pipe supports, shut-off valves, and unions. Each configuration features a minimum six-inch long dirt leg with a welded cap, and a Canadian Gas Association rated full-size flexible connector leading to the equipment. Configuration C additionally includes a gas regulator and a three-quarter-inch gas vent routed through the roof. All exposed steel piping and supports receive one coat of ferrous primer and two coats of gray semi-gloss enamel.
ALL EXPOSED STEEL PIPING AND SUPPORTS SHALL BE PAINTED WITH 1 COAT OF FERROUS PRIMER AND 2 COATS OF GRAY SEMI-GLOSS ENAMEL.
