A brass cleanout plug with a countersunk head connects to a cast iron waste line via an eighth-bend fitting. The waste line incorporates an eighth-bend fitting if the cleanout occurs at the end of the line, with length to suit field conditions. For exterior grade installations, the cleanout assembly is set within a sixteen-inch square concrete pad that is trowel-smoothed and edged. The cleanout and access cover top is set flush with the top of the floor line or finish grade.
