An underground cleanout assembly utilizes a four-inch cast iron riser connected to a sanitary sewer or storm drainage piping run. The riser terminates with a cast iron ferrule fitted with a bronze plug. A cast iron housing and ductile iron cover, labeled with 'sanitary' on top, sit flush within a six-inch concrete ring with a bevel top.
