Condensate piping connects to a fan coil or air handling unit through a Fernco Series 1056 rubber pipe connector with stainless steel clamps. The trap maintains a four inch minimum height and a two inch minimum difference with an open vent installed on the downstream side. The outlet pipe slopes downward at one-eighth inch per foot in the direction of flow with a two inch minimum clearance.
