A vertical pipe penetration through a cast-in-place concrete floor utilizes a sleeve sized to provide a two-inch annular space, supported by an Anvil Figure 261 riser clamp. A second detail features a core-drilled existing floor opening sized to provide a one-quarter-inch annular space, with a note requiring X-ray scanning of any post-tension decks prior to drilling. Both penetrations include caulking sealant where insulation does not occur and fire-stopping at all rated floors.
