A freeze proof roof hydrant penetrates a roof assembly consisting of varying roof deck, rigid insulation, and roofing membrane. A single ply membrane boot with a minimum one inch turn up is secured with a stainless steel clamping ring and continuous weld to PVC coated metal heat welded flashing. The hydrant assembly is installed per manufacturer recommendations, routing the automatic drain to the nearest mop sink, floor sink, or funnel drain with a two inch minimum air gap.
