Grit pumps connect to discharge piping routed above the concrete grit tank with a six-inch grit discharge line. Piping arrangements include various valves and fittings sized per the grit tank manufacturer recommendations with typical dimensions of eight feet six inches and six feet five inches. Clearances and routing are coordinated with HVAC lines, four-inch line number three, three-inch line number two, and a one-inch air header pipe.
