A one-half inch cold water main feeds a trap primer valve assembly designated TP-1, complete with a shut-off valve, a union fitting, and vacuum breather ports. The trap primer line extends down to supply water to floor drain FD-1, maintaining the water seal in the trap to prevent sewer gases from entering the space below the finished floor.
