A recessed hose bibb box is set within a framed wall assembly backed by double blocking typical at framing. The enclosure is secured to the finished wall using quarter-inch screws spaced at three inches on center along all four sides. A three-quarter-inch size hose bibb with a vacuum breaker and an inline three-quarter-inch size stop is housed inside the recessed box. A watertight seal is required between the bibb, box, stop, and the box perimeter to prevent moisture penetration into the wall cavity.
