A single-ply roof jack is furnished and installed by the roofing contractor around the plumbing vent stack, sealed watertight to the vent stack and integrated with the surrounding membrane roofing material. The vent stack extends a minimum of twelve inches above the roof surface. The roofing membrane extends continuously across the roof deck up to the penetration.
