A roof penetration detail featuring a vertical vent pipe passing through a roof assembly with rigid insulation and a roofing membrane. A vertical flashing membrane extends up the pipe and is secured with a draw band and continuous sealant at the top. The base of the flashing transitions horizontally over the roofing membrane with a metal collar and continuous sealant. The vertical penetration extends a minimum of twelve inches above the top of the roof.
