A cast-in-place sleeve penetrates the concrete floor slab to accommodate vertical piping while providing a two-inch annular space. An Anvil Fig 261 riser clamp supports the pipe and bears on the top of the slab. Fire-stopping is installed at all rated floors around the penetration, supplemented by a caulk seal where insulation is omitted. Pipe sizing is determined per floor plans.
