Self-regulating electric heat trace freeze protection is applied along piping with a power connection kit, thermostat, and end seals as indicated on drawings. A heat tracing controller connects to a 208-volt single-phase power supply and a wall-mounted outside air temperature sensor located per floor plans. Fiberglass cloth adhesive tape secures the heating cable, and pipe insulation is installed over the assembly according to project specifications.
