This assembly consists of a double check valve backflow preventer flanked by two indicating isolation valves. A strainer with a blowdown valve is positioned upstream of the check valves to remove debris from the water supply. Pressure gauges equipped with isolation valves are installed on both the upstream and downstream sides of the assembly to monitor pressure differentials. The flow direction is indicated from left to right through the series of valves and strainers.
