A double cleanout assembly is installed with cast iron coil pipe risers and fittings rising to finish grade within paved or sidewalk areas. Each riser terminates with an iron ferrule and a brass countersunk screw plug flush with the surface. The entire assembly is surrounded by a concrete collar measuring eighteen inches wide and nine inches deep, reinforced with three-eighths-inch rebar and featuring a two-inch chamfer at the edges. Subgrade preparation requires ninety-five percent compaction beneath the collar and ninety percent compaction around the lower piping. A grouted plug is specified when the cleanout occurs at the end of the line.
