The underground interceptor vault includes a grit trap basin with a twenty-four-inch diameter manhole cover rated for AASHTO H20 loading. An inlet pipe from foundation drains enters the chamber equipped with a tee fitting, maintaining a minimum six-inch clearance from the trap bottom and one-inch minimum spacing. The outlet pipe is installed at the required slope.
